The label says: Giuseppe Lecchi allievo di Cesare Candi fece in Genova 1940. I’ve shown this to a few people and we have all come to the conclusion that this a mid 20th century italian instrument of superior quality. The wood itself suggest a nice high grade. Back measures approx 396 mm and bouts are 238 mm and 184 mm. Just a wonderful looking Viola, it’s been quite a while since I have seen anything this nice.
It has an extremely powerful, radiant, clear and rich sound suitable for professional soloist play. It is undamaged and in perfect playing condition. Payment via Paypal etc. No guarantee or refund possible - private sale. Happy bidding!
