What’s involved?

As a consequence of our main business of reconditioning and repairing Sparklets soda syphons we have received a number of requests from owners of Merkuria Kovocas soda syphons whose original soda syphon heads have either corroded internally or become damaged and wanted a replacement head.  We can now supply aftermarket replacement heads to fit these elegant glass bodied syphons. It would be a shame to let these go to waste so these are being sold off without the need for an exchange item .

These reconditioned heads are Guaranteed to last at least 12 months in a domestic setting.

Please note that these heads are cosmetically different to the originals and do not take the same size/style of charger keys.  The heads are supplied with an appropriate charger key in black plastic.

Which soda syphon bodies will these fit on?

The heads being sold will most models of Merkuria Kovocas soda syphons made in the period from around 1960 to the late 1980's (and possibly later).   This brand sold syphons that were of the standard upright shape but also in a round, ball, shape.

T's and C's  

Because you have not sent us your syphon body we are unable to inspect it for corrosion or damage or cracking of the glass body. As a result you will need to self-certify that the syphon body you currently have is mechanically strong enough to be re-pressurised once we supply a working syphon head.   Soda syphons operate at a peak of around 60 to 90 pounds per square inch.

By paying for this service you have agreed that you are self-certifying that the body of your syphon is mechanically strong enough to be used for its intended purpose.  Recon Syphons cannot, and does not, guarantee any part of your syphon that we have been unable to personally inspect for damage or wear.

Costs

There are no additional costs.  This is an outright sale of the heads concerned.
