Vintage 1965 Vox JMI AC30 B 2×12 Guitar Valve Amplifier Combo *1960s* w/ Pedal This is a wonderfully rare 1965 Vox AC30 Bass version with the grey top from the 18000 serial range. I purchased this from the long term owner, and he had kept it in incredible cosmetic condition as you can see, even including that 'bass' logo to the bottom right of the front panel - amazing! The amplifier dates to 1965 by the serial number, circuit board, tolex, and panel. All three transformers work great, but one is a later replacement before I received it. There is no wiring tap for a rectifier, so that has been left empty as you can see. There is a quad of original period EL84 valves, and a nice original set of period pre-amp valves. When I photographed it, I hadn't put in the ECC82 so it looks like it's missing on the picture, but one IS included. Two of the three handles are there, but one was broken in the past so removed. The three vents to the top are still attached. This is definitely one heck of an amplifier, that is a brilliant example at that! You’ll not be disappointed. The amplifier part itself has recently been serviced by a UK leading amplifier tech and it plays great! The speakers are tested working but will need wiring up.
