The exact date of manufacture is unknown, but I would guess around the 1980s. The flat lid has a very fine hairline crack which I have indicated on the picture. And the lid with a handle has a mark from one side to the other, I don't think that it is a crack, but a moulding line. Two Vintage Melba Ware Pink Peony Ginger Jars Staffordshire Pottery. The exact date of manufacture is unknown, but I would guess around the 1980s Short jar is 13cm wide by 14cm high including lid Tall jar is about 11 cm wide X 20 cm high Both are in good clean condition with no chips or cracks to the bodies, just a bit of crazing to the taller pot.
