In most cases the motors fail due to overheating because they are running for long periods of time, this is normally due to the fridge or freezer not reaching temperature thus allowing the motor a rest period. These motors are not designed for 24/7 continuous use. For this reason motors cannot be supplied with any commercial warranty. We do strongly advise that any diagnosis and repair is carried out by a qualified refrigeration engineer who could establish what caused the original fan motor to fail.
