Großer Original Antik Kunsthandwerk Stahl & Kupfer Kamin Kohle Hod c1904. Large Stylish Original Antique Arts and Crafts Copper Fireplace Coal Hod / Scuttle / Bucket c1904. Steel body and legs with copper rim and copper round knob handle to lid. Design Registration No 446074 to underside alongside manufactures' stamped logo for Henry Loveridge Wolverhampton. 3 supporting legs. Painted in black finish. As with all steel coal hods of this age there are some holes to inside base of the container due to water damage over time from wet coal. It also appears that the hod may have been used as a plant stand in its life with extra holes added for drainage. There is now a rubber patch covering the internal area and the holes are not visible viewed from the top (see photos). Size: 14" (36cm) Diameter x 18" (46cm) High A rare unusual item which displays really well Carriage quoted to UK postcode addresses.
