Handgetöpfert, wie man auch an den Rillen innen sehen kann und handbemalt. Diese sehr dekorative Dose eignet sich sehr gut als Vorratsdose, z.B. auch für Tierfutter oder als Vase. Althaéa officinalis: So beschreibt bereits Theophrastus die Wirkung der in süßem Wein eingenommenen Pflanze gegen Husten. Auch gegen Zahnschmerzen, bei Insektenstichen, Wunden und als Abführmittel wurde Eibisch verwendet. Weitere Infos zu der Heilpflanze können z.B. unter folg. This lidded jar / box can be used for storage or as a flower vase etc. etc. It is still in excellent, undamaged, clean condition.  No chips or cracks but has some superficial spots where the glaze is chipped on the rims, see photos, the body is fine and undamaged.  Gently used.   NOTE: I have listed separately many more items and will be happy to combine shipping. About this plant "Althea": Althaea is a genus of herbaceous perennial plants native to Europe, North Africa and western Asia. It includes Althaea officinalis, also known as the marshmallow plant, whence the fluffy confection got its name. They are found on the banks of rivers and in salt marshes, preferring moist, sandy soils. The traditional medicinal uses of the plant are reflected in the name of the genus, which comes from the Greek althainein, meaning "to heal". The flowers and young leaves can be eaten, and are often added to salads or are boiled and fried. The roots and stem also secrete mucilage, which is used to soften the skin, and is used in cosmetic treatments. The Roman poet Horace refers to his own diet in his Odes, which he describes as very simple: "As for me, olives, endives, and smooth mallows provide sustenance."
